Three days in late April on the Central Otago Rail Trail was an amazing experience. Breath-taking scenery complimented by the autumn colours. Weather was cool but dry and perfect for the riding conditions. Character field towns and bars to stop on the way serving quality food and friendly service. All made really easy booking through Cycle Surgery who arranged everything - booked our accommodations, evening meals, luggage transport and provided bikes which were of a high quality. Nothing was ever too much for Dave, Pip and the team. Looking forward to my next rail trail ride with Cycle Surgery.
We cycled the Otago Rail Trail over 5 days in April. Cycle Surgery planned and organized everything for us - bike hire, accommodation, bag transfers, shuttle transfers, and evening meal bookings. They made everything so easy. Bikes were great to ride, accommodation was lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed the variety of evening meal bookings. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and provided top notch service. We would highly recommend Cycle Surgery for planning a trip on the ORT.
Central Cycle Trails Co. helped us plan our 5 day cycle on the Otago Rail Trail. All our accommodation, bag transfers (we used our own bikes) and shuttle return to our car went like clockwork. Pip and Dave made this easy and enjoyable. Will use them again for our next ride on the Clutha Gold Trail.
Central Cycle Trail Co. arranged our 5 day ride on the OCRT and everything went totally as planned. The bikes were well maintained and very solid. My spouse had an e-bike and it was faultless. I might try one on the next long ride! All of the accommodation and transfers were seamless. All of the accommodation was first rate with all of the hosts will to go the extra mile for us. The Taleri Gorge rail trip that transferred us on to Dunedin was a fitting way of finishing such a great vacation. Thanks Pip for making the trip so memorable.
